I DID NOT START OUT to be a Real Estate Broker. I left Minnesota in the great 60’s to go to the University of California San Diego. After getting my Master’s of Business Administration degree and returning to Minnesota to be close to my family, I proceeded with my desire to become a college professor teaching accounting, finance, business law, and my favorite, real estate.
After 12 years of teaching, I decided to take 2 years off and practice the things I was teaching. I became a Real Estate Broker 30 years ago, loved it, and never went back to formal teaching.
I use my background to help both buyers and sellers make good financial decisions when housing is involved. With an interior designer mother, I also have experience in staging houses which I have done for most of my 30 years (way before HGTV made my job easier).
Besides my love of working with Buyers and Sellers, I adore my husband and playing bridge (without my husband). My passion in life is rescuing animals. I founded the Steele County Humane Society in the 80’s and now rescue puppy mill dogs, abandoned cats and horses, and take care of our own rescued cockapoo, snoodle, chocolate lab, 9 cats (of whom I am allergic), 4 horses, and 4 adorable alpacas.
Although I take my job extremely seriously, I try my best to take the stress out of buying or selling a home. GIVE ME A CALL AT (507) 455-2882 IF YOU NEED SOME HELP OR IF I CAN ANSWER ANY REAL ESTATE QUESTIONS.
